Technical Stage Visits
Do you want your properties to pass the NHBC visit the first time, reduce after-sales costs and increase customer satisfaction?
We are proficient in all construction methods and offer a tailor-made Technical Audit service. Visits are be conducted at specific stages.
We report to you actual and potential defects, highlight these areas on-site drawings, referencing recognized guidance and approved documentation to provide a comprehensive report designed to help on-site teams improve their understanding of the issues.
- Can run for the length of the project or be a one-off visit to focus on a key stage.
- Are coordinated in line with a given project program.
- Highlight where compliance with Building Regulations and the Approve Documents are not met for that stage of work.
- Highlight potential areas of concern from warranty providers.
Quality Periodic Visits
The visit may consist of monthly visits looking at the whole site or a visit to look at one specific area of work or problem. It can be used to check previous reports to ensure that they have been closed out correctly and to check the frequency of the items reoccurring. If there is a QA system in place you may wish for compliance with the procedure to be checked or compliance with the specification.

There tends to be three aspects to the triangle of completing work. Time, cost and quality and in that order. We can advise strategies to maintain quality without impacting on the time, and remaining cost effective. Whilst the architect is responsible for the design and the drawings are checked by Building Control, items are often incorrectly designed, specified or difficult to build. These three things contribute to defects on site. Even where things are simple to construct, contractors often fail to follow guidance or drawings to provide the product that is required.
