Meet the Team

With a combined total of 79 Years of experience within the construction industry our surveyors are well placed to support you:

Shaun Heath Technical Director

I have been in construction since 1978 working on site, in Building Control and for the NHBC. My main area of work concerns technical aspects of construction, identifying and resolving construction problems, design issues and claims.

Since leaving NHBC to start Construction Site Inspection and Quality Assurance I have been contracted by both NHBC Technical and Claims. I have worked for Housing Associations and claims companies, carrying out builder's insolvency claims and technical claims minimising the inconvenience whilst maximising the claim. I have carried out warranty surveys for completed buildings and those under construction.

More recently, I carry out defect management work for developers and housing associations to minimise the number of defects in new construction. This reduces the company’s costs for customer services and helps to improve the customer and brand image by fewer complaints. With the use of social media becoming more prevalent this can prevent a large scale problem on a development. I provide reports to both building companies and clients identifying defects with the construction prior to it being closed up for masonry and timber frame construction. As work progresses through the fit out stage, defects with the installation of materials including fire related matters are identified.

Paul Santry Quality Director

I began my working career as a plasterer in 1983. Completing City and Guilds Craft Certificate in plastering and gaining the top marks in the country resulting in being awarded the coveted silver trowel. Following this I gained the City and Guilds Advanced Craft in plastering.

I worked in construction until 2010 completing many projects as an operative and ultimately as a project manager. At this point I looked to changing my career and Education had always been in my mind.

I completed the Level 3 PTTLS teaching qualification in 2010 and began delivering the CSCS course linked to plastering to Job Centre plus students on a part time basis for 4 years.  In 2014 I decided to further my teaching career and gained the level 3 CAVA Award to enable me to begin lecturing and assessing.

I stayed in education until 2017 when I was asked if I would like to take on a Quality Management Role at a large interiors organisation. I had always been passionate about quality but never considered it as career.
I instantly loved working as a quality manager and when I saw the chance to concentrate my time on quality I moved to my current career as a Quality Director at CSI~QA. In 2020 I attained a ISO Lead Auditor qualification.

I tend to look at quality in a slightly different way to most. I always look for the WHY and what can be done to improve.

Grant Heath Administrative Manager

Since leaving full time education I have held a number of management roles across the Entertainment, Clothing and Food sectors of the Retail industry.

I am a passionate believer that technology can often hold the solutions to daily challenges faced by society in both our professional and personal lives. Throughout my career I have sought out systems and technology to implement robust and efficient ways of working.

In 2019 I Joined CSI~QA, with my primary responsibility being PlanRadar. PlanRadar is a piece of  computer software specifically designed to aid clear and consistent communication and collaborative working, whilst still providing clear lines of accountability.
